What we do
Promote academic excellence
The Association of Former Students of the Government Bilingual High School Mbouda abbreviated ALYMBO, created in 2013 is an apolitical non-profit association whose purpose is providing multifaceted support to the Lycée Bilingue de Mbouda, students and teachers.
ALYMBO is a legalized association governed by law N 90/053 of December 19 on the freedom of association in Cameroon.
Since its creation, ALYMBO has been involved in the promotion of work and academic excellence through the granting of scholarships to the most deserving students.
Following the remarkable dynamics of ALYMBO, in addition to the Awards, the members have decided to carry out other important projects for the school and educational community of the Government Bilingual High School Mbouda.

We’ve been there
Convinced that both friendship and gratitude must be demonstrated through actions, the Alymbo members have decided to pool their ideas and energies to express their gratitude to the Government Bilingual High School Mbouda which has given them so much academically, educationally and in terms of relationships.
Recognition is a way of prolonging the pleasure that the benefits received have caused and is best expressed through actions.
Pablo Picasso once said: "Action is the first step to success".
Because we want to achieve what we have thought, wanted and said for an innovative and brilliant high school alumni association, we are committed to act on 3 fronts:
Awards
An essential annual activity of the Association, the Awards allow the promotion of academic work and excellence.
Projects
An African proverb goes as follows “ one single hand alone does not achieve as much as several hands put together”.
Social
This component was born in a logical and obvious way with the growing number of members from year to year.
